Foscam FI9803P V2 Wont work on IPCAMViewerPRO

Postby Luis » Tue Mar 08, 2016 8:42 pm

Can someone please help me out.

I'm unable to add Foscam FI9803P V2. system firmware version 1.9.1.12 Application Firmware Version 2.54.2.5 Plug-in Version 3.3.0.5 to IPCAMViewerPRO (paid version)

I currently have other Foscam models (FI86XX h264, FI8904W and much more) working with out a problem, I've also confirmed my port forwarding is setup correctly. other cameras are working correctly.

errors I get: invalid username/password. *** I know for sure I'm typing in the correct user name/password***

The camera works under my Blue Iris recording software, I can also browse to it from Chrome without a problem.

any pointers??? thanks and have a great day. :D

use Scan Camera to automatically find compatible drivers in the app, but first, make sure ip/port + user/pass works using browser from outside wan:

There's probably a compatible driver already in the app. Use Scan Camera function to find compatible drivers.

If you only want Wifi access to camera, then first verify network accessibility by viewing your camera/dvr's login page using the phone/tablet browser.

If you want 2/3/4g access to camera, then verify network setup by viewing your camera/dvr using a PC IE browser from OUTSIDE your home wifi. Next, your phone/tablet browser should be able to load the login page but viewing may not be possible due to lack of active-x IE controls.
See this link for info: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=47

Once that works, then try my app. The "Scan Camera" function can help when you're not sure of the make/model. Try scanning the device's WEB/MEDIA/MOBILE/DATA ports (shown in device settings).

If Scan Camera return no results, then try to find a driver by DVR port or by login screen:

If you still have problems, AFTER scanning ALL device ports and reading all links, then give me temporary access to it and I'll put it into my work queue. Just email me the web login URL and a temporary username/password.

Also, include the make/model and a product url link (if possible).

Thanks,
Rob
