I have tried all these nothing worked. I tried:
- chged camera IPs outside my DHCP range
- upgraded software on my cameras(FI8918W)
- chged my router channel to 7
- chged encryption to TKIP

nothing works for me.

The issue I have is that my cameras work fine when inside my LAN but as soon as I shut down the wireless on my phone it connects thru the external IP to my router I can see all my cameras fine for 20 secs then they drop one by one till all are gone. Then I have to wait many minutes to connect again and again the same thing.

But I have noticed that this does not happen on one particular Android app 'Foscam Viewer' but happens on IP Cam viewer and tinycam Monitor.

Any thoughts or suggestion would be appreciated.

Thx in advance.

Vijay

I'm having trouble getting PTZ control of my Neewer V100 cameras and I was wondering if anyone else has found an already existing driver that works with them. I can get video to stream just fine with quite a few of the built in drivers, but I have no motion control and I can not send and receive audio. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

There's probably a compatible driver already in the app. Use Scan Camera function to find compatible drivers (click menu key in Manage Cameras, select Scan Camera).

If you only want Wifi access to camera, then first verify network accessibility by viewing your camera/dvr's login page using the phone/tablet browser.

If you want 2/3/4g access to camera, then verify network setup by viewing your camera/dvr using a PC IE browser from OUTSIDE your home wifi. Next, your phone/tablet browser should be able to load the login page but viewing may not be possible due to lack of active-x IE controls.
See this link for info: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=47

Once that works, then try my app. The "Scan Camera" function can help when you're not sure of the make/model. Try scanning the device's WEB/MEDIA/MOBILE/DATA ports (shown in device settings).

If Scan Camera return no results, then try to find a driver by DVR port or by login screen:

http://hit-mob.com/contact/login-screens-for-devices/

If you still have problems, AFTER scanning ALL device ports and reading all links, then give me temporary access to it and I'll put it into my work queue.

Just email me the web login URL and a temporary username/password.

Also, include the make/model and a product url link (if possible).

Thanks,
Rob

Can someone tell me if this app has the ability to watch recorded video from my NVR? If I read it correctly, you can watch recorded video only if it was recorded on your smartphone. I need to remotely view recorded video on my NVR. Thanks.

Hi,

I have been using the IP Cam Viewer Pro (both Android and iOS version) to view the IP Cameras I have setup. Recently, I purchased a Sineoji branded IP Camera to replace a faulty IP Camera (EasyN). Model is 355V (http://www.sineoji.com/products/products-details/pt335v). I scrolled through the Device list and realized that this camera is not supported yet. Can I seek your assistance to support this camera so that I have an integrated app to view all my IP Cameras.

Thanks for the great work done so far!

The latest update reverted my purchased "basic" back to the unpaid basic with ads. I still have my registration code but there is NO WHERE to enter it in the app. Only the "Upgrade" button that wants me to pay again. This has happened before and Robert sent me a link to download the latest version that allows a code to be entered but that link no longer works. Anyone have a solution?

Run IP Cam Viewer Lite.
Enter your unlock code to unlock it.
(click Menu key, select Upgrade Now, read instructions at bottom for unlock link)

Hi Robert Chou,

thank your for your great app. It is my favourite IP Cam App (and I had to use a few until I found yours).

The latest iOS update to version 2.5.3 changed the view on my iPhone 6 in the main menu. Unfortunately the previews are much smaller now and there is more unused space (white borders). It would be great to change the scale in the app settings. Currently you have included how many columns are shown (matrix). A scaling option would be awesome because in the previous versions I had a much better overview on my iPhone 6. Now I have to put my glasses on to see whats going on on my 5 cams or I have to use matrix = 1 and scroll down to see them all.

I hope you don't mind my small hint, because except for that the app is GREAT!!! Keep it up!

Best wishes from Germany!
