Piper NV support?

Postby CyberDynamite » Mon Feb 13, 2017 10:35 am

I own a NVidia Shield Pro (2017 model) and just installed IP Cam Viewer Pro with the Google Play Store.

I have added one D-Link Cam with success and I'm asking myself if I could also add a Piper NV Cam thant I own.

Is this possible?

There's probably a compatible driver already in the app. Use Scan Camera function to find compatible drivers.

If you only want Wifi access to camera, then first verify network accessibility by viewing your camera/dvr's login page using the phone/tablet browser.

If you want 2/3/4g access to camera, then verify network setup by viewing your camera/dvr using a PC IE browser from OUTSIDE your home wifi. Next, your phone/tablet browser should be able to load the login page but viewing may not be possible due to lack of active-x IE controls.
See this link for info: https://hit-mob.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=47

Once that works, then try my app. The "Scan Camera" function can help when you're not sure of the make/model. Try scanning the device's WEB/MEDIA/MOBILE/DATA ports (shown in device settings).

If Scan Camera return no results, then try to find a driver by DVR port or by login screen:

If you still have problems, AFTER scanning ALL device ports and reading all links, then give me temporary access to it and I'll put it into my work queue. Just email me the web login URL and a temporary username/password.

Also, include the make/model and a product url link (if possible).

Thanks,
Rob

This Piper nv cam has no web access app available. I can only log into it using their own app.

Using IP Cam Viewer, I tried to scan but it gave me no results. Using the correct port, it found something but said that there was no video feed available.

But, using my Piper app, the cam works without any problem.

So is there any possibility to find out how to connect this cam to your great app?
