I purchased IP Cam Viewer Pro and can only view my cameras when on a Wi-Fi connection. I read the "Setting up your IP camera posted by N4Spd. They seem to be great instructions but I DONT UNDERSTAND THEM.....Can anyone help me in more laymans terms? I need to view my cameras when Im out and about. I know its got something to do with my IP address not being static? Any help would be appreciated...

Re: setting up your IP camera (3ème message sans réponse)

Bonjour,

Je reçois un message d'erreur : "Could not retrieve data".

Cordialement.
Max.

Hello

I am sorry for my English.

I have a problem with the IP cam viewer. The image is transmitted only through wifi can not connect to 3G. Wifi works from elsewhere than from the local network. The work functions, as well as free wi-fi ... pres wifi works normally but not over 3G.

Tested on 2 phones HTC Sensation (Vodafone) Samsung Galaxy S3 (T-Mobile).

Device: Samsung Cameras and DRV 470D, Asus N66U router. Port forwarding is set.

dnsource wrote:Hello everyone, I have installed the light version to try it out but I am having a lot of trouble with it. I dont have a dynamic ip so I had set up a dyndns account. I had no problems with eagleyes on my iPhone but for some reason I cant get this to work. Any help would be great!

I get the error "failed to retrieve image from camera"

I have AVETECH 7xx DVR Series

I even tested my dyndns url on my phones web and it went in (just couldn't view the images)

I've had the same prob on my iPhone. I also installed the light version but it required dynamic ip :-(

I have a D-Link 5222L (update firmware) and I am using the IP Cam Viewer on apple mobile devices. I have the camera all setup and works great. The problem I am having is everytime I open the IP Cam Viewer the video shows up and then immediately disconnects. I have used other viewers like UCam Pro and everything works fine when the app is open, video stays live.

I have a total of 4 different cameras and all work fine on the app. I love the IP CV and do not wish to switch. Can anyone help me out?
