Jrecam unknown brand by generic url help

Postby Florisz » Sun Jun 04, 2017 7:42 am

Hi, I have a jrecam jm3866w which is not in the list of supported camera's for Ip Cam Viewer.
I found an alternative;
'Tenvis JPT3815W 2013' that works, but the streaming image is flashy, which makes the recording start all the time.(I have the paid version for recording)
When i view the cam in a mobile browser (Firefox on Android) the streaming image is perfect.
The urls are:
Http://192.168.1.27/video/livemb.asp(for android)
Or
Http://192.168.1.27/video/liveipd.asp(for iphone)

Through another website I found the following working url in the mobile firefox browser:
http://admin:admin@192.168.1.27/videost ... &pwd=admin

Is it possible to set up the camera with the info above in IP camera Viewer(paid version with recording)?
I already tried with the generic url, but can not get it to work.

Thank you for any help.

There's probably a compatible driver already in the app. Use Scan Camera function to find compatible drivers.

If you only want Wifi access to camera, then first verify network accessibility by viewing your camera/dvr's login page using the phone/tablet browser.

If you want 2/3/4g access to camera, then verify network setup by viewing your camera/dvr using a PC IE browser from OUTSIDE your home wifi. Next, your phone/tablet browser should be able to load the login page but viewing may not be possible due to lack of active-x IE controls.
See this link for info: https://hit-mob.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=47

Once that works, then try my app. The "Scan Camera" function can help when you're not sure of the make/model. Try scanning the device's WEB/MEDIA/MOBILE/DATA ports (shown in device settings).

If Scan Camera return no results, then try to find a driver by DVR port or by login screen:

If you still have problems, AFTER scanning ALL device ports and reading all links, then give me temporary access to it and I'll put it into my work queue. Just email me the web login URL and a temporary username/password.

Also, include the make/model and a product url link (if possible).

Thanks,
Rob

ps. You can also use the generic Onvif driver or the Generic URL / RTSP drivers for modern cameras.
