Could you add CAM drivers for the following models?

Postby CyberDynamite » Tue Feb 27, 2018 7:13 am

Hello,

I'm using the Pro version of your wonderful IP CAM Viewer app. I'd like to know if it would be possible to add drivers for the following cameras brands/models:

1- Arlo - Model: Arlo Pro 2 (VMC4030P)
2- Bosma - Model: BSB-CO-X-001
3- KeeKoon - Model: KK004
4- KeeKoon - Model: KK005
5- DLink - Model: DCS-2530L
6- DLink - Model: DCS-2670L
7- DLink - Model: DSH-C310
8- iSmartAlarm - Model: iCamera KeepPro
9- Nest - Model: Hello (Doorbell)
10- Netatmo - Model: Presence
11- Piper - Model: Piper NV
12- Reolink - Model: C1 Pro (Would it be compatible with the actual C2 model in the app?
13- Ring - Model: Video Doorbell 2
14- Ring - Model: Video Doorbell Pro
15- UCbulb - Model: SC-01481 (V386)

Thanks a lot again for this great app!

There's probably a compatible driver already in the app. Use Scan Camera function to find compatible drivers.

If you only want Wifi access to camera, then first verify network accessibility by viewing your camera/dvr's login page using the phone/tablet browser.

If you want 2/3/4g access to camera, then verify network setup by viewing your camera/dvr using a PC IE browser from OUTSIDE your home wifi. Next, your phone/tablet browser should be able to load the login page but viewing may not be possible due to lack of active-x IE controls.
See this link for info: https://hit-mob.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=47

Once that works, then try my app. The "Scan Camera" function can help when you're not sure of the make/model. Try scanning the device's WEB/MEDIA/MOBILE/DATA ports (shown in device settings).

If Scan Camera return no results, then try to find a driver by DVR port or by login screen:

If you still have problems, AFTER scanning ALL device ports and reading all links, then give me temporary access to it and I'll put it into my work queue. Just email me the web login URL and a temporary username/password.

Also, include the make/model and a product url link (if possible).

Thanks,
Rob

ps. You can also use the generic Onvif driver or the Generic URL / RTSP drivers for modern cameras.

I already did the scan process and for sure the Piper cam and the two Rings veideo doorbells don't work. Is there another way?

For the other models, I was asking because I'm thinking buying them but I don't want to spend money for nothing if I'm not able to use them with IP Cam Viewer Pro and I just wanted to make sure they would work with your excellent software. I don't like using different apps and want to group all my cams in your app.

For the Piper cam: I cannot access it using my local URL: 192.168.1.8. I only can access the cam using their own app (where I cannot see any URL). When, you setup the cam, they make you connect to their SSID WiFi before switching back to my own network SSID. Then it worked.

As suggested by you, I have contacted Piper and here is their answer: "The Cloud URL are: api.getpiper.com apinxt.getpiper.com repo.getpiper.com eventgateway.getpiper.com and the Piper unit use the port 60 to 70 UDP/TCP But we can not provide you something like a specific ID to access the system".

From there, I don't know what to do.
