Arc Welder not working anymore

I wanted to configure my new PC with IP Cam Viewer and using the app Arc Welder on Chrome but Arc Welder is not working anymore. I guess it's because Google will close their app extension soon but what are we going to use from now?

I guess you will have to change your help page here: "Run IP Cam Viewer on Mac, Windows, Linux, Chromebook using Chrome and Arc Welder" as it's not true anymore.

Any ideas how to bypass this restriction? How can we use IP Cam Viewer now with a Windows PC if we can't use Arc Welder anymore with Google Chrome version 63?

I hope they find a workaround for this. I'm kind of worried there's been no official word on this though.

I think you can run android apps directly from chrome now. arcwelder not needed anymore.

Just wondering if the symptoms I see when trying to run IP Cam Viewer are what others are getting. I WAS running it under Arc Welder on Ubuntu until recently. Now when I try to run the app I get a flashing screen with some images from my cameras and then a black screen.

Has any way been discovered that would allow me to continue using the app on my Ubuntu system? I have it installed on an iPad and a Android phone, but I use my laptop more frequently than the others and I miss the availability of viewing my security cameras.

I tried AnBox, but it won't load the app either. I also tried connecting to my phone via the web interface but that flashes as well.

It's a really good application and I want to use it. I will miss it if I can't get it to run.

I too was using IP Cam Viewer in Chrome on Ubuntu and miss that functionality. I have tried several different options to try to get it working again without success. (I also run it on an iPad and an Android phone but mostly checked my cameras from my Ubuntu laptop.)

You mention that you can run Android applications directly in Chrome...how? I haven't found anyway to do that now that Arc Welder no longer works.
