Hide camera name/timestamp/status?

Postby scottt732 » Thu Mar 21, 2013 10:29 am

Is it possible to hide the red/green text in the upper left corner in the android app? I'm using an old cell phone as an always on monitor and when the text changes in my peripheral vision, I confuse it with motion. Ideally I'd like nothing but the video on the screen.

Hi,
I just tried V4.9 version (free version) on a tablet
it seems that motion detection and connection loss doesn't play any sound, even declared (and played sample) on parameters section
is there any thing else to adjust?
is it device dependent?

1. change sounds in App Settings.

2. see Edit Camera -> More Options for motion detection options

3. motion detection will take ~1-2 minutes to learn before working

hi,
I did'nt notice that i must set options for each cam
I did it and it seems to work
except than, as the motion on this cam is acting only during 30s and the application needs 1-2 minutes to detect an alarm, this one is often missed
if several detections occur successively within 2mns, a sound is effectively played
if only one detection, no sound is played
I think it's a problem with this cam (Vstarcam h6837Wi), I don't know how operate other cams

1. motion detection takes 1-2 minutes to learn before it starts working

2. motion will turn status orange but repeated motion is required to trigger sound notification (if enabled). this repeated requirement will also be required for future mobile notifications in order to minimize false positives

3. constant motion areas will be ignored over time (part of learning). same goes the other way (will re-learn calm areas over time)
