Audio: Panasonic, Dlink, Axis, Trendnet, Airlink, Foscam

Great news guys, I just got audio working with my Panasonic BL camera.

It'll be in next Sunday's release because I still have to add some polish to it.

That means other cameras can have audio now too (of course each make/model does it differently so a little detective work will be needed but at least there's a precedent).

Rob

ps. if you have a camera with audio that you'd like to be done, please email me with temporary access and I'll add it to the work queue (robert[dot]chou[at]gmail[dot]com).

More news, added audio support for some TrendNet and AirLink cameras as well.
Will be in the v3.0.9 release.

Finally, cracked than darn Foscam. So audio is supported now for the Foscam but it sounds really crappy.
Probably because of a cheap mic, electrical noise, and a 80s encoder (not kidding).

If audio is NOT working on your Axis camera, it's probably because it's a new camera with a default AAC audio codec.

Good news is that you can change that in the camera settings to the g726 codec and the audio will work.

I've seen this with both the 1344 and 207w models.

Thanks,
Rob
