Importing our own long list of cameras?

Postby stormin » Fri Jan 15, 2010 7:24 am

Is there a way to edit the camera list on a PC or to import our own list of cameras? Entering 30+ private cameras will take a while on the small screen.

Also, any way to backup/restore personally entered cameras? In case of a firmware upgrade or device swap? Especially after entering 30+ cameras.....

Just some ideas, thanks for considering them.

1. click manage cameras, click Menu, click "Export".

later, click manage cameras, click Menu, click "Import". Now you have everything back including named sets.

2. click manage cameras, click menu, click "Email Cameras". It will attached the same export file and email it.

3. when viewing/controlling a specific camera, click Menu, then click "Email Camera" and just send that specific camera to a friend.

That's all already in the app. You don't think I enter all my cameras over and over do you? 8^) Also, I use named sets to quickly switch groups of cameras.

Only thing I'm thinking of changing is to modify the "Email Cameras" to only email selected cameras...
