Hello,

I'm trying to implement use of the PTZ feature. I'm able to view the camera image through the DVR system using IPCamViewer, but the PTZ buttons are grayed out. I can PTZ just fine when using the DVR directly (without using IPCamViewer).

Currently, within IPCamViewer, I'm using the "Zmodo DVR w/ Media Port" model. Do you have any suggestions as to how I can enable the PTZ features within IPCamViewer? Thanks for your help.

This is an absolutely wonderful app. I have paid versions I use on both my Android and Blackberry devices. Please submit this wonderful app for availability for the Blackberry Playbook which now includes an Android app player.

Please let me know if the AVTECH AVN80X IP camera is supported. Its not on the latest device list but I guess may be the same as other AVTECH cameras that are listed.

I submitted this question to this forum but it hasn't appeared so this is second go.

I can view my my AVTECH AVN80X IP camera OK from my laptop with Windows Internet Explorer but I'd like to view it on a BB Playbook. It seems that the Playbook browser doesn't support the choice of video players required (Active X, Quicktime, VLC). I was wondering if IP Cam Viewer would allow me to view this camera.

IP Cam Viewer change log?

Postby taa » Sun Mar 04, 2012 12:12 pm

Hi,

Is there a place on the web site where I can view the change log? It will be easier for me to read it using my desktop PC.

playbook does not support native code so avn80x driver is not available on playbook.

Re: IP Cam Viewer - Linksys WVC54G support

Postby N4Spd » Wed Mar 07, 2012 7:17 pm

try the latest "Linksys WVC54G MPEG4" driver and it'll have audio

cameo wrote:After trying to view this old cam's stream with all kinds of browsers only to get a response that MPEG-4 is only supported in IE browser, I pretty much resigned myself to defeat. Then, after several guys suggested Robert Chou's IP Cam Viewer, I gave it a try on my HTC Amaze 4G phone. First I tried the Lite version and to my surprise, it had the WVC54G model's driver built in and I was soon looking at a live stream on my phone. The only thing I could not get with the video was the sound. Figuring that might be available in the paid Pro version, I soon installed that one. Unfortunately no sound on that one, either. Though I am not sorry to pay for what I've got but I wonder if I did not configure something right on the Viewer or for that particular model it is just not possible to get the sound in an Android app.
