PTA on Ipad

I have been using the free ip cam viewer for severl months on my android phone and love it. I got an ipad for christmas and immediatly downloaded the app. I can get my camera to appear and Pan and tilt using the buttons but cannot get it to pan using the finger swipe as it does on my phone. Is is an option on the ipad...also the ipad lags more than my phone does....all things being the same, is is normal.

It is a panasonic Bl seris camera.

the finger gestures on iOS version is currently used for pinch-to-zoom.
will look into how ptz can be added to gestures in the future. thx rob
