I've read the last 4 pages of your posts here. Robert U DA MAN!!! I don't know of anyone that supports their product better than you. Thanks! On to my question. I recently purchased two Google TV's. The recent update has a market but I can't find your software on it. One of the existing softwares I found on the Google TV market (from another provider) would be good if it didn't explode every time I try to use it. I WANT YOURS ROBERT!!!! Your the best in the BIZ dude! Is it there under a different name?

Thanks for all you do.

Bob
P.S. Using PURCHASED Robert Cho software on 8 family devices and that includes three tablets. Now for two TV's.

they use custom binary protocol

shaggy wrote:Hey Robert, GREAT APP!!!

I will probably buy the full version but I had a question a bit technical

I have a zModo 9100 DVR and I am happy with your Android app but I want to bring these cams up on my desktop.. actually so i can display them on uStream etc on occasion.

I was wondering what URL or method of connection you are using? Is this RTSP / MJPEG? etc.. basically i am looking for a connection string for my desktop apps that support both RTSP (various methods) and MJPEG to restream it to ustream/livestream/etc.

The documentation on this stuff is very poor but it seems to be able to be done and I would appreciate the help.

you need to get NAT Loopback working in your router. this will allow you to use the WAN IP/Hostname from both inside and outside the network.

worst case, just create 2 groups (one for inside and one for outside)

I've a feature request:

I use my phone at home and outside.
At home, I use my private network (via wifi). Outside, I use 3G network.

If I configure WAN IP on IP Cam Viewer, I can see my private cam from 3G, but not in wifi, because my adsl router don't allow wan ip on private lan.
If I configure LAN IP on IP Cam Viewer, I can see my cams at home, but not ouside with 3G.

Can you add a feature: for each cam, two ip:port (LAN/WAN). Then the app use lan ip if it is on the same subnet than the phone ip. This also need a "force mode" to use WAN IP at work, because subnet at work may be same than at home (the best way would be to detect wifi ssid and set it as "my network" but should be hard to code)

(sorry if bad english, I'm french)

Unable to connect to KGuard DVR after updating firmware:

Postby thehecklerj » Mon Nov 28, 2011 1:30 pm

IP Cam Viewer is unable to connect to my KGuard SHA108 DVR after performing a firmware upgrade on the DVR.

I have been using the application for quite sometime without issue, and recently upgraded the DVR's firmware. Now IP Cam viewer will no longer connect. Other tools & applications can still connect to the camera and even applications using the same connection info / port.

I have attempted local address and forwarded addresses (192.168.x.x), and dnsalias.domain.com. I have attempted scanning / searching the network to see if IP Cam Viewer would detect the proper driver for the camera, but it fails to find the device.

Please let me know what further items I can try to get this to work.

Thanks...
Jason

Any chance of adding iOS support for the Talos h.264 dvr's? I was able to view my cameras on my old android phone, but since I upgraded to an iPhone, the same DVR gives connection errors. The only Talos product available to choose from the list is a Talos ip camera.
I love that I can monitor multiple dvr's with this software, this Talos unit is the only one the software doesn't connect with on iOS.
Any chances of a fix for this?
Thanks!
