when do you expect audio to be supported for Axis M1031 and M1054?

Hi

I've a feature request:

I use my phone at home and outside.
At home, I use my private network (via wifi). Outside, I use 3G network.

If I configure WAN IP on IP Cam Viewer, I can see my private cam from 3G, but not in wifi, because my adsl router don't allow wan ip on private lan.
If I configure LAN IP on IP Cam Viewer, I can see my cams at home, but not ouside with 3G.

Can you add a feature: for each cam, two ip:port (LAN/WAN). Then the app use lan ip if it is on the same subnet than the phone ip. This also need a "force mode" to use WAN IP at work, because subnet at work may be same than at home (the best way would be to detect wifi ssid and set it as "my network" but should be hard to code)

(sorry if bad english, I'm french)

Connection Help

Postby shaggy » Thu Aug 18, 2011 2:29 pm

Hey Robert, GREAT APP!!!

I will probably buy the full version but I had a question a bit technical

I have a zModo 9100 DVR and I am happy with your Android app but I want to bring these cams up on my desktop.. actually so i can display them on uStream etc on occasion.

I was wondering what URL or method of connection you are using? Is this RTSP / MJPEG? etc.. basically i am looking for a connection string for my desktop apps that support both RTSP (various methods) and MJPEG to restream it to ustream/livestream/etc.

The documentation on this stuff is very poor but it seems to be able to be done and I would appreciate the help.

Any idea of support for AirLive cameras?

I have managed to get a couple of different models to work with the Airlink WL-2000 type. I originally assumed that AirLive and Airlink might be the same company but that does not appear to be the case. However the Airlive works using the Airlink WL-2000 type and the actual camera model is the Airlive WL-2000. Since Airlink don't seem to have such a model is it possible that this is under the wrong company name?

I'm also using it for the Airlive POE260CAM although the latest update seems to have made it flicker a bit in the bottom half of the image. The Pan and Tilt does not seem to work for this camera though.

I'm considering getting an AirLive OD-325HD but really only want to get it if it works with this app on the iPhone/iPad. Anyone been able to get this model to work?

Love the app, it's the best of a whole bunch I've tried.

If I could get You access to my Gadspot DVR, any chances of getting the PTZ to work om my Android phone? Thanks.

Any plans to fix the PTZ part on the Gadspot DVRs, every thing is good but that doesen't work so I have no control of ptz?

Is there a way to see the password for the camera? I have forgotten the password to my camera but the password in the IP Cam Viewer is correct so I need to see what it is. Thanks.

Very happy with IPCamviewer for Android.
Just one request. Can you enable audio for the Avermadia NV series DVR?
I have audio inputs on 4 cameras of my DVR. I can see the cameras fine, but the audio button is ghosted.
