Postby rebelbah » Fri Jan 22, 2016 1:10 pm

Been trying to get this camera( Vangold 1280*960P 1.3MP Network PoE White Mini Bullet Camera outdoor/indoor Security Onvif Waterproof Night Vision P2P IP Camera IR Cut Filter 3.6mm Lens ) setup in IPCam Viewer Basic(upgraded) but until now not successful.

My setup
i can view the camera locally and through the DDNS:PORT with IE address but not through IPCam Viewer
running Blue Irus 4.** and can view the camera if i login to the DDNS:Blue Irus Port via web , but unable to connect to it using IPCam Viewer, tried using Make:Blue Iris , Model:Blue Iris v3 H264 Host/IP: *******.*****.*** , HTTP(S)Port:****** CH#** as i have a several others connected.

anyone else have this camera and was able to get it connected to IPCam viewer

There's probably a compatible driver already in the app. Use Scan Camera function to find compatible drivers.

If you only want Wifi access to camera, then first verify network accessibility by viewing your camera/dvr's login page using the phone/tablet browser.

If you want 2/3/4g access to camera, then verify network setup by viewing your camera/dvr using a PC IE browser from OUTSIDE your home wifi. Next, your phone/tablet browser should be able to load the login page but viewing may not be possible due to lack of active-x IE controls.
See this link for info: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=47

Once that works, then try my app. The "Scan Camera" function can help when you're not sure of the make/model. Try scanning the device's WEB/MEDIA/MOBILE/DATA ports (shown in device settings).

If Scan Camera return no results, then try to find a driver by DVR port or by login screen:

If you still have problems, AFTER scanning ALL device ports and reading all links, then give me temporary access to it and I'll put it into my work queue. Just email me the web login URL and a temporary username/password.

Also, include the make/model and a product url link (if possible).

Thanks,
Rob

There are a handful of compatible drivers. The one I use is the Cohu 3960HD which works fine locally but I can't seem to get the settings correct between my camera and Arris router for external access. Of the 10 IP cams I own, I've never tried to use a standalone IP Onvif camera and I may not have a total understanding of how it works and what ports to forward. Any comments and suggestions would be appreciated. This one is on the front door of my house and I'd sure like to view it on my android.

Thanks for such a GREAT app!
