Refresh issue

Postby audioforears » Mon Feb 01, 2010 11:57 am

Hi There,

I have a linksys wvc series camera and it has worked awesome up until a recent update. Now it won't refresh after pushing a preset button and in order to get anything to happen, I have to restart the app.

As I've said, this has never been an issue until just recently.

Any ideas?

Hmm... please email me with temporary access to your camera and I'll investigate. Many cameras got changed to streaming mode recently for faster refresh.

The linksys wvc200 was upgraded to mjpeg streaming but some cameras are not configured for mjpeg mode. Try to enable MJPEG mode in your camera. I've changed the code so that in the next release (2/5/2010), it'll actually fall back to the old method if mjpeg is not working right.

thanks,
rob
